Cloud Shag is a deep, 30 mm shag in a mix of rust, cobalt and moss, with the colours blended through the pile so it reads as a warm, textured surface rather than a pattern. It is machine-tufted in polyester, which keeps the long pile soft and bouncy and the price low. It is the rug to sit on: by a bed, in a reading corner or in front of a sofa where people stretch out on the floor. Shag is best away from dining chairs and heavy traffic. It comes in 4 × 6, 5 × 8 and 6 × 9 ft and as a 6 ft round.
Made in Panipat on tufting machines. The long yarns are twisted before tufting so the pile does not mat, and each rug is shaken out and brushed by hand before it is rolled for shipping. Expect a little loose fibre in the first weeks, which a few passes of the vacuum will clear.
