Sahara Dune

Sahara Dune is built from blocks of ochre gold and teal with a flash of vermilion red, separated by fine lines in the manner of a Mondrian painting, but in the warm colours of desert sand and dusk. The blocks are large enough to read from across a room, so the rug gives a plain space a clear focal point. It is hand-tufted in wool with an even medium pile that is comfortable underfoot. It suits a modern living room, a study or a dining room with simple furniture, and it is also made as a 2½ × 8 ft runner for a hallway.

Tufted near Jaipur, where the dyers mix the ochre for each order from a single batch so that every block matches. The lines between the blocks are tufted last and sheared a little lower than the colour fields, which keeps the grid crisp and legible even after years of use.

In India: dispatched in 2–4 working days and delivered by courier in 3–5 days. Delivery is free on orders over ₹20,000. Cash on delivery is available on orders up to ₹1,00,000: pay 25% online when you order and the rest to the courier.
