Indigo Diamond has rows of diamonds in sky blue and brick red on an ivory ground, woven flat in wool. The blue is the strongest colour, so the rug reads cool and fresh and makes a good contrast with warm wood floors or terracotta tiles. It is reversible, lies flat under furniture and is light enough to move from room to room with the seasons. Wool flatweaves also shrug off dust better than cotton, which keeps them looking fresh between cleans. It comes in 4 × 6, 5 × 8 and 6 × 9 ft and suits a living room or a bedroom.
Woven in Panipat, a Haryana town whose weavers have made flat-woven rugs and home textiles for generations. The wool is dyed in the town's dye houses and woven on wide handlooms, with each diamond counted out thread by thread as the rug grows from the bottom edge.

Crafted by the weavers of Panipat
Panipat, north of Delhi, has been a weaving town for generations. Its workshops dye yarn in the town, weave flat rugs and dhurries on wide handlooms, and braid jute and cotton into round rugs by hand, alongside the town's large textile-recycling trade.
