Istanbul Classic gives the look of a traditional Turkish rug at an everyday price. An ivory ground carries an all-over design of azure-blue vines and small crimson flowers, printed into a dense, low pile that is easy to vacuum and does not shed. It is power-loomed in polypropylene, so it shrugs off spills, suits homes with children and pets, and holds its colour in bright rooms. It comes in four rectangles and a 6 ft round, making it an easy first rug for a living room, a bedroom or under a dining table.
Made in Turkey on modern power looms, which weave a rug of this size in hours rather than months. Machine-made rugs are the practical end of the collection: the design is taken from a classic Turkish pattern, and the yarn is dyed before weaving so the colour runs right through the pile.

Great for a rented flat

Good value, thin pile

The round works in our hallway

Nice rug, strong smell at first
There was a new-rug smell for the first few days which faded once aired. Otherwise a very good rug for the price.
