Ladik Triple Arch shows three arches side by side, carried on slender columns, with a row of tulips below, drawn in brick red, ivory and sky blue. It is hand-knotted at 80 knots per square inch in wool with a medium pile. The arches give the rug a clear top and bottom, so it looks best where it is seen whole: at the foot of a bed, facing a reading chair or hung on a wall. The sky blue is unusual for an Anatolian rug and keeps the red lively. It comes in 3 × 5, 4 × 6 and 5 × 8 ft.
Woven around Konya, near the town of Ladik, which is known for prayer rugs with arches and rows of tulips. The weavers use the Turkish symmetric knot, and the ivory areas are knotted in undyed wool, which keeps its colour and softens with age rather than fading.

Hand-knotted rugs are made one at a time, so the size, the colour and the edges can differ slightly from the photographs. That is the mark of the hand, not a fault.
