Nordic Grey is a modern geometric rug in dove grey and charcoal on an ivory ground, with a pattern of thin lines and small triangles that reads as calm texture from standing height. It is power-loomed in polypropylene, so it is hard-wearing, easy to clean and fine for homes with children and pets. The cool palette suits a Scandinavian-style living room, a white bedroom or a study with pale wood. At this price it is also a sensible rug for a first home or a rented flat. It comes in three rectangles and a 6 ft round.
Made in Panipat, India's largest centre for machine-made and recycled-yarn home textiles. The looms run in shifts through the day, and each finished rug is cut from the roll, bound along its edges and checked by hand for faults before it is packed.
